This was poured into an English pint glass. The appearance was a dark hazy burnt orange color. I could still see carbonation rising though the color was pretty hazy. Quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly foamy rims stick to the sides. The aroma had some soft sweet peach up front and then papaya. In turn, it ends up bringing some bitter citrus rind. Some signs of sweet citrus pulp. The flavor yields to a semi-sticky sweet edge over the bitter citrus rind. Peach and papaya flesh seems to be the aftertaste along with a hint of resin. Sticky bittersweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. Bitterness punches appropriately. ABV felt good as well. Overall, very nicely done AIPA that I would love to come back to.

Pours a whitish blonde/gold hue with a thin head into my glass. It was bottled on 2/28/17. Spicy citrus and tropical fruit in the nose. Starts off mellow citrus and cascades into a touch of old-school pine bitterness. Acidic finish with lingering buttery malt. Not what I was expecting in a good way. I was getting bored with straight-up citrus bombs. Try it!!!

Bottled 2/28/17.

Moderate pour yields a 1 and a 1/2 inch white head over a hazy light golden body with nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Taste follows with the pine taking the lead in bitterness. Nice, clean, and smooth; with great flavor for only 5.5%. Feel is a tad thin, but adequate. Overall, a nice session worthy IPA and I'm diggin' it for a first beer after work!
