Tried batch #212. Poured into a tulip glass allowing fruity smells to perculate. Pours with 1/2 head and Tequila Sunrise orange. Very good taste of just enough hop, little bitterness for a 70 and great finish. Both samples from this brewery were great.

Poured a hazy gold, with a nice thumb and a half of head. Decent lacing present. Smell is hops forward, citrus all the way. There is also a touch of a sweet (I assume from the malts). The taste is also hops forward, but it seems to be missing a bit of punch, also getting some malts, and then a bitter finish. Feel is medium with medium carbonation.

Well, the fact is this bottle was a little old (for a fresh IIPA), and I think it had lost some of its power. Still a good beer.

Moderate pour yields a 1 and a 1/2 inch white head over a medium amber body with very nice lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, tropical fruit, and tropical fruit. Taste follows the nose with some orange pith, a medium bitterness, and a nice crisp, dry finish. Nice mouthfeel and overall this is one of my faves from Hinesburg, VT.

This was a nice surprise. This pours so beautifully....with a dark orange color so pure that I would not expect it from a beer. The head is perfect and frothy (not foamy). Smell is above average and the taste is well balanced between hoppy, citrus, tang, and a wee bit sweet. Excellent - and my first of this Research Series.

This one pours a pretty thick and hazy dark orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like mango, dank weed, grapefruit, melon, lemon, and lots of tangerine.

Not sure of the hop bill on this one, but whatever it is, it must be stellar. This is pretty crazily juicy and tropical- all of the fruits above are there, so I'm not gonna list them all again. There's very little bitterness, and it's creamy and full flavored. This is like hop sherbet.

This is really creamy and milkshakey, with a good level of carbonation.

Frost is really an underrated brewery- they're making beers on par with the big guys in the state.
