Pick up a 4 pk of pint cans at the local bottle shop at a deep discount. Poured a modest yellow tone with a somewhat cloudy, unfiltered element floating about. Very thin head. Aroma is grassy and piney. Taste is really pleasant with a hoppy pine note. Mouthfeel is in the middle and quite carbonated with a crisp finish. I like this one and would look for it again.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a small head and moderate lacing.
Smells of slightly dank grassy piney hops.
Tastes of lightly tart grapefruit, orange and lemon with a slightly bitter finish.
Medium body with light carbonation. Smooth clean mouthfeel.
This a very drinkable, well balanced and mild mannered NEIPA. It's lighter and less juicy than the rest of the " *ush " series but still nice. This brewery does not disappoint.

Grassy, vegetal, marmalade, pine, candied citrus/tropical blend. Interesting. Taste is all of those with a hint of spiciness. Feel is medium, low carbonation and fluffy. Overall, worth a try.

The bar is high. It's from Vermont and their Ponyboy is world class. The pint can now dispensed, left a thick, murky and dirty blond concoction in a clear glass liter mug. The first warning sign of an over-starched NEIPA appears, the enormous starchy white head. The label lists "malt", but malt from where? Poor barley is now out of favor when it comes to this style. Yes, the label also says "Double IPA", but this sure looks and smells, what smell there is, like a New England version. Back to the smell, the little of it. Unlike some of these, it at least is there and of starched earthy hops. The standard pretty lacing occurs where the head receded. This is smooth for the ABV and is slightly better bodied than many new New Englands, but it does a limbo under the bar. Better than many in this variety, it's salvaged by an OK body and a mild earthy hop taste, with a clean and bitter finish. Unfortunately, it lacks the complexity of a real good Double, Imperial or even original New England IPA.
