Picked up at Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury. Can dated 3/27/18. Surprised it's not listed here yet.
Pours a cloudy muted gold color with a two finger foamy head that retains well.
The aroma is heavenly with bright citrus notes sweetened by floral blossom notes. Very nice.
The taste is fairly light with a very thin malt base so this is all hops coming through. Very clean flavor with citrus and honeysuckle blossom flavors. Almost reaching pineapple notes but I can't quite get there. Gotta say there are no off flavors to it. Again, well done.
The feel is soft and a bit thin. Fairly flat too.
Just loving this one. I figured a reference to Conan would be a bludgeoning ale but it is light and airy. Maybe it was an ode to Valeria (which should still kick your ass if you think of it).
...and in honor of this beer - the answer to what is best in life: To crush the enemy; to see them driven before you; and to hear the lamentation of their women.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
