A: slight haze; deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;
S: canned pineapple juice;
T: a blend of pineapple juice and orange juice; mild bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: OK, but considering this is Frost, it's somewhat of a disappointment;

Look: big fluffy head, hazy, gold with a burnt orange hue, good lacing
Smell: ripe tropical fruit, pine resin
Taste: melon, spice, peach, grapefruit, pine resin, sweet fruit sugar
Feel: med thick body, moderate carbo, soft, creamy
Overall: 8% abv. It's been a couple of years since I last had this and it's still as good as I remember. Nice ripe tropical scent. Tastes of grapefruit and peach are engulfed by melon. Pine resin eventually rears its head and there's a sweet fruity sugar that comes out too. Soft and creamy on the mouthfeel. A delicious offering from Frost. I suggest you pair Double Ponyboy with Deuce from the Kiss Double Platinum Album. Do it!

From a can dated 09/10/24. Pours an amber orange and densely hazed. Lovely nose of tropical fruit. Similar palate with a bitter finish. A very nice DIPA.

Bought a four pack and just poured into a pint. Really thick and dark orange. First impression and smell is that of pineapple. First sip is creamy and not boozy at all. Damn, this is really good.

Growler into pint glass. Pours a murky dark gold color with a persistent off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is juicy pineapple, citrus, mango, light caramel, and a touch of pine. Mouthfeel is super-juicy, soft and pillow-y. Finish fades to a slightly sweet citrus. A quite enjoyable NEIPA.

On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
There’s a ton of juicy pineapple on the nose, with a touch of mango and grapefruit.
This is incredibly juicy in a fresh and exciting way, with just a touch of floral bitterness on the back end. There’s just a ton of fresh, juicy, and vibrant pineapple juice vibes here, with some marijuana and fresh cut grass flavors, and a touch of wheaty sweetness.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, and richly drinkable.
It’s hard to not enjoy this one.

The pineapple in this one is other-worldly, even in a 3-month-old can. Absolutely outstanding. Silky body with an orange-gold glow. Creamy head with fantastic lacing. Tropical salad nose with giant bursts of canned pineapple and Juicy Fruit gum. Full carryover to the taste but just a touch muted versus the nose. Soft and coating feel with perfect carbonation but no stickiness. One of the best hazies I’ve had in a while. And definitely the most pineapple-forward beer I’ve ever had.

Double Ponyboy Frost Beer Work:
The aromatics of the hops is very intense and fresh. Deep layers of tropical, husky earth notes, creamy citrus and a full, smooth feel. High grade DIPA for sure. The hop complexity is very high. A crispy, crunchy bite at first that becomes silky smooth.

Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy floral undertones notes with some juicy hops notes. Taste is a mix of juicy hops notes with some hoppy floral hops undertones with some citrusy notes with light fusel alcohol notes that are discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice hoppy double NEIPA though fusel alcohol shows up a bit too much.
