Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy bright orange color with 2 fingers of sudsy white head. Nice retention. Leaves a crown of sticky lacing around the glass as it settles into a thin sheet of foam.
The aroma is very citrusy, bringing notes of oranges, tangerines and fresh grapefruit. There's some pineapple and melon followed by a subtle hint of pine.
The flavor is more on the tropical side up front, bringing notes of mangoes, candied peaches, pineapple and honeydew melon. Then comes a wave of tangerines and grapefruit before a piney finish.
The feel is medium bodied with lower carbonation. Soft and creamy, if even a bit chewy.
Overall, this is a great DIPA. It's a tad on the sweet side but the flavors are nice and the beer is quite drinkable despite the higher ABV.

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a nearly one inch white head over a cloudy body with nice, sticky lacing. Nose of sweet citrus (tangerine, orange), slight tropical fruit, and slight pine. Taste of citrus (pink grapefruit, orange). tropical fruit (mango), and a bit of pine near the finish with a little citrus pith at the finish. Feel is a tad abnormal for Frost as it is probably the most "soft" feel I've ever experienced from them. Overall, a very nice addition to this brewery's quiver of fine IPAs. Cheers!
