Can stamped 11/25/19
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a spectacular looking papery/woody orange color with a stealthy sliding off finger's worth of white foamy head. Spectacular lace, some rims near the top.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of mango/sweet peach flesh/apricot along with sweet oats/oatmeal creaminess, soft nuttiness.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side but allowed some soft sweet nutty wood strolling into the overall blend. Soft nutty clean and somewhat mango-like to peachy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Some stickiness seems to be involved but honestly, it's not too bothersome. Nice low key carbonation with the expected smooth and semi-creamy finish.
Overall, it's a pretty nicely done New England styled IPA well worthy of coming back to.
