Everything about this beer is good, but not great. Mosaic hops are coming through spicier than I'm used to - not a bad thing though, just different. Grassy and subtle blueberry notes with hints of tropical and mint/pine.

Incredibly fresh (Dated 5.02.23 vs Today is 5.24.23)
Im so glad i found this beer it reminds me of when i used to live in Vermont.
It's a classic. Close to saison, but fully IPA in character. It's just not obnoxious about it.
10/10 highly recommend.

I can't tell from the stamp on the bottom of the can how old this is - the 2-digit month got blurred by the stamp location, but it's definitely from 2022, making this one at least 2 months old, possibly more like 3 months. . . .
A: Poured from the can into a Tree House tulip. Body is hazy golden with a half-finger of bubbly whitish head on top.
S: Good nose of grain and hops - straw foundation, then tropical fruit (pineapple), citrus peel, and ripe blueberries.
T: Like the nose, I get a grainy foundation, then modest fruity hops: berries, pineapple and melon all come to mind, along with a hint of apricot. Solid tasting beer.
M: Modestly juicy, medium in heft. Carbonation is faint, but fine-bubbled.
O: Not bad, not great. May have been better fresher - hard to say for sure.

I like a lot of the Frost beers, but have been burning out on double IPAs for the time being, and so I was happy to see this one which is a little less intense but still flavorful.

Sampling as part of a flight at the brewery.
Pours a hazy medium orange with a full head.
Smells some of tropical fruits.
Good mouth feel.
Hints of tropical fruits.

Extremely disappointed in this beer. I had very high hopes for this can. It tastes stale and unappealing. The smell is ripe of fruit that has gone bad. Mosaics are usually one of my favorite style IPA’s, too, and to that we know what they are supposed to taste like. This isn't it. Just an underwhelming beer experience from a brewery we have heard good things about. We set up a nice picture and everything thinking this would be a top notch beer and it fell flat. Literally. The beer tasted flat and underwhelming. Like a playoff game you get excited for and then you get your doors blown off in the opening 10 min. Not much else to say here, probably won't be having this one again.
