A- 16oz can pours into a becher glass with a very hazy/cloudy golden-orange body and a cap that peaks at one finger. Decent head retention. A small ring at the edges leaves spotty lacing.
S- Mostly about the fruity hops with some support from whole grains and suggestion of medium sweetness. Notes of mango, melon, tangerine, papaya and dank hops.
T- A moderate dose of juicy fruity hops as well as floral, herbal and strong citrus hops as well as a ripe, zesty bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit zest. Melon, cantaloupe, grapefruit, tangerine, berry, bitter herbal, slight oniony and papaya notes. Rounded out with hints of oats and sweetness. A bit green and acrid.
MF- medium bodied and fairly smooth. The texture is rather puffy and somewhat creamy with a medium-high level of carbonation. Ends rather bitter and it sticks on the palate for a long time.
Lacks the intensity and downright juiciness of the best of similar IPAs and comes off a bit green and acrid on the palate but still enjoyable for the most part just not truly standout.
