Canned 5/16/26, so 2 weeks old today.
Hazy pineapple-juice-yellow with just over one finger of long-lasting creamy white head.
Smell is mostly pineapple creamsicle +/-, plus a bit of fresh orange , and hints of papaya and mango. After pouring into the glass, I could smell it from 3' away. :)
Taste is mostly bitter orange, with a touch of grapefruit pith. A little bit of papaya and passion fruit in the aftertaste, though not sweet, as is usually encountered with those flavors.
Feel is medium, juicy, and moderately abrasive. Sharp and bitter at finish and beyond.
Overall , pretty good, though nothing "Wow!". I like the bitterness as opposed to the usual sweetness. I can see why Zumo is usually reserved for the sake of adding aroma. Pretty close to Citra, but not quite as good as many/most? of the better Citra-based beers I've encountered. Worth a try, but not something I'd seek out again.
