Draft at the brewery
Pours a medium fizzy foamy off white head with med retention, fair soapy lacing, crystal clear auburn brownish color
Nose mild sweet malts, touch of caramel and toasted grain, biscuity sweet grain, light floral herbal hops
Taste mild sweet grainy malt, very toasty and a bit biscuity, bread crust, little toffee caramel, med sweetness, hops brings herbal floral flavors, but on the lighter side, bitterness is medium, a bit of fruity yeast esters, finishes a bit drier and a touch of yeast, more fruity esters, long lingering medium bitterness
Mouth is med to a little lighter bod, med to a little high on the carb, prickly carb
Overall not bad, malt profile is decent, hops are a bit too light all around, and doesn't have as much of that typical ESB English like character, also carb is a little too high and prickly, but an enjoyable beer in general, not bad just nitpicking at the style

Growler. Smaller sample taste. Pours a clear, dark brown. Aroma is akin to style but has a more verbose yeastiness. Sweet, spicy, somewhat hoppy. Flavor hits style guidelines and is fun to sip. English yeast, slight spice, tea and wood hops, candied malt. I think we could use more ESBs in the market. This one doesn't do anything unusual but it's fresh, to style, and well concocted. I can alpreciate that,
