At the brewery. Well-hopped, properly funky, and pretty dry. You definitely get the Sorachi Ace. A good beer but decent saison. Just missing some character.

From Medusa website: "Fermented with a traditional farmhouse yeast, our dry-hopped saison begins with citrusy, lemony notes from Sorachi Ace and Centennial hops, and then finishes clean and dry".
Drank today at the brewery; this must be a different batch, almost a year later, from all the other previous ratings and reviews; clearly they fixed something with this batch because it was a decent saison, not representative of the current BA rating; it is however extremely thin, almost watery, which did detract for me from the overall beer

On tap at the brewery.
Pours a cloudy yellow straw color with minimal head. Leaves ok lacing.
Aroma is typical for the style. Lightly tart and earthy.
Taste is oily and soapy as hell. Some bitterness from the hops.
Feel is light bodied with good carbonation. Extremely oily. Finished pretty dry.
Overall, a poor saison. Not a lot going on here and the soapy flavor is pretty gross.
