Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange like amber color with a fluffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving rings of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a yeasty and bready smell mixed with some fruit smells of orange as well as a big showing of a raspberry. While light, there is a bit of cherry in there as well, mixing with some spice aromas of coriander and clove. Rounding it all out are smells of bubblegum and hard candy, producing a rather thick and sweet smell overall.
Taste – The taste starts out with a moderately chewy bready and cracker malt flavor mixed with yeastcake and sweeter tastes of an orange and banana. There is some stronger coriander and clove upfront as well, with these fading a touch as the taste advances and some more maltiness comes on the scene. For a raspberry and cherry infused brew, these flavors are rather light, but do get a bit stronger as the taste advances forward. At the same time a decent showing of some hay and some lemon, as well as candied flavors join in, leaving one with a more thick and malty Belgium like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is heavier and thicker for a Belgium pale ale with a carbonation level that is on the lower side. A higher carbonation level and thinner body would have suited it much better, better matching the style and the fruit flavors of the brew.
Overall – OK to pretty nice. I was hoping for a bit more raspberry and cherry and less maltiness, but a nice sipper none the less.

Nice fruit taste. Tart lime raspberry/cherry. Not too sweet.

Tall can w/o canning date or other freshness info that I can find. Big fan of the style, so been looking forward to giving this one a sniff, swirl and taste...
The pour here is medium hazed, minimal head, no film and no lacing, medium amber with a brown/pink/ruby kinda/sorta hue going on.
Sweet/fruity/tart/yeasty sniff...that is bright and intriguing.
More tart n sweet on the palate and in the mouth...bright berries, Belgian tasting yeasty complexity abounding.
Some minor yeasty chunks evident on the final pour, just adding to the experience...I enjoyed this one quite a bit and would def. want to enjoy it again and again...good thing I have another can from the 4 pack I purchased. (@ DeCicco's, in Millwood, NY)

A: The beer is hazy reddish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and a small patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of Belgian yeast and raspberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, with the raspberries and yeast standing out in front of the underlying pale ale.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the smell and taste of this beer to have a nice balance between the yeast and raspberries.

Brewers Notes: Good Omen Belgian Pale Ale with cherries and raspberries. Sometimes our Belgian-style Pale Ale GOOD OMEN takes a turn for the sinister after a diabolical infusion of pureed raspberries and cherries, transforming it into BAD OMEN. The signature fruity esters, derived from a classic Trappist yeast strain, dovetail nicely with the red berry notes. Slightly tart, with a perception of sweetness before a dry finish.
Chilled can poured into a Spiegelau glass, fizzy off white one finger layer recedes to a ring over a translucent reddish copper colored liquid
Aroma is straw, hay, whiff of cherries
Taste is funky, yeasty, straw , hint of cherries and raspberries
Sudsy , slight tartness
Nice beer

Light but pleasantly balanced fruit and brut essence. Like a lighter and less sweet version of Lindemann's.

My growler was labeled as 7.5% ABV; perhaps this batch is better than previous ones because I feel like the ratings are too low; great color and aroma but too thin in mouthfeel
