Our interpretation of a New England styled Pale Ale. Brewed with 2 row barley, crystal malts, tc8570, and dry hopped with a hallertau variant.

Growler from the Source.
Mostly clear deep golden color with a smallish off white head that shows moderate retention. Bready maltiness with a hint of caramel. Light earth and pine aroma with more of an earthy peppery hop flavor. Moderate lingering hop bitterness. Decent enough pale ale if not a touch on the bitter and spicy side.

750 mL growler poured into a longstem white-wine-style glass, four hours after fill. Pours an orangey yellow in color with light carbonation and little head. Nose is bright and fruity with a solid malt backbone. Taste is not what I was expecting when I saw this was dry hopped with a hallertau variant. This has a distinct bite to it that is very bitter but all the same very light and refreshing. The overall profile of this beer is eerily similar to Foreword, the brewery's first offering (which I loved). I think this batch came out great - dare I say very Trillium-esque - and I would love to see more of it made. Cheers.
