Huge amounts of oxidation coming from a pour straight outta the brewery. Need to revisit this one in the future.....

From a growler filled hours ago at the brewery.
Mostly clear light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. The aroma is just dripping with tropical fruit citrus and pine, malt well maybe some light sweet bread if I squint and sniff really hard. More pine and resin in the flavor than fruit with some bready crackery malt batting cleanup. That's a pretty damn good IPA right there!

Stopped at Deciduous Brewing one the way back from brunch in Me. today. I had a sample of Phenotype. It was enough for me to fill one of my growlers with it to bring home. It poured a slightly hazy yellowish to light orange color into my tulip glass. The nose is fruity with hints of an earthy overtone, perhaps a slight malt nose. The taste is a wonderful blend of tropical fruits with a nice bitterness in the finish. A little pine lingers in the back of the mouth. The mouth feel is smooth. I am hoping this becomes a regular beer for them as it will surely keep me coming back.
