My word. Hops burst on the nose. Blends perfectly with the base. Transforms into guava and passion fruit. Great carb. Light. Amazing flavor. The hops definitely make this beer different than regular Albricot. I've loved all dry hopped variations made by Deciduous.

Somewhat hazy sunshine yellow with a bare film of head. Smells of fresh cut grass with some resiny spruce aroma. Taste is tart, a little lemony, some citrus hops, a bit apricot fruity. Mouthfeel is juicy, a good amount of fizz. Overall, some nice tart flavors, not so sweet, and the apricot is pretty well balanced with the hop flavors.

500 mL bottle. Hazy orange. Smells of apricot, orange, and lemon acidity. Tastes of sour orange, lemon, apricot and peach sweetness. Just a hint of sweetness before it drops off. Fresh, light, bright, and delicious. Very nice.

this is one of those rare instances where i feel like we should have cracked the special edition before the base beer. lucky enough to have this and the regular edition in the same sitting, i feel like it would be nearly impossible to follow the base beer, and this was a victim of that, like if we had only this one id be raving about it, but it really does pale in comparison to albricot original. the fruit here isnt half as intense and juicy and even genuine in nose or taste, and while its still really delicious, i think it appeals to a different palate. the hops are new worldy, southern hemisphere type, if i was a betting man i would say heavily mosaic, but there is too much other stuff in here to be sure (namely all the fruit!). the hops are more aromatic than anything, thats the dry hop obviously, but there is a bitterness that comes on late and sort of interferes with the climax of the apricots that i loved so much in the original. its juicy and tropical, just in a different way too. less woody to me, fresher, equally acidic, that part is consistent across both beers, and this one is arguable more complex, but there was something about the other one that just struck the harp of heaven for me, this had big shoes to fill, and didnt quite get there. i think age would help this a little, and its amazing beer in its own right, dont mean to diminish that fact. deciduous, with beers like these, is establishing themselves as one of the best producers of this kind of thing out there!

Very good beer, suffers a little unfairly from being compared with Fou' Foune, an all time favorite.

Picked up at Julio's. Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice light golden straw hue with a thin head that fades to nothing.

S - Aromas of nice light apricots, nice fruity hops, possibly galaxy. Very nice.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, very very nice light stone fruit notes and tartness. The hops were really nice with great citrus hop notes. Quite nice.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, maybe a bit thin.

O - Overall this was a very nice beer. It drank exponentially better than the base beer. The dry hopping was really really nice.

Decent fizzy head hit a finger then fades quickly, hazy slight lemony color.

Nose still big apricot peach stone fruit, fruity hop note, acidic mild funk and lacto like souring, little lemony cake batter again, little lemon cereal and mild vanilla barrel

Taste more lemony cake batter, vanilla barrel notes, acidic tart flemmy lacto bacteria souring funk, mild stone fruit apricot mild peach, buttery oak, just a touch of floral fruity hops. Flemmy finish, more acidity lemony vanilla cake batter.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, lighter carb but nice acidity

Overall much better than the original, maybe better batch, but just better, although hops were not very much there.
