#2. Bright golden Yellow in color. Hazy in appearance. So dank, so delicious. Grassy, candied orange rind and pine. Lower carb, smooth sipper. Balanced, but a touch sweet. So good!

Finally a NE style DIPA in this corner of New England!
Poured from a 750 mL growler.
Hazy light yellow straw color with 1 finger head that quickly dissipates.
Smell is tropical and citrus with a good amount of funk. You can definitely smell the mosaic hops. A bit of yeast comes through as well.
Taste is nice and well balanced. Good amount of citrus and tropical fruits with more dominant yeasty funk than most beers of this style. Just enough of a piney bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side but pretty bubbly and enjoyable.
Overall this is an above average DIPA with noticeable amounts of new school hops but has more yeast taste than many others in this category. Well balanced beer but not quite on par with their neighbors to the west in VT.

Poured into a fluted snifter.
Hazy straw, near opaque from haze, thin white head, big bubbled foam.
Aroma has a bit of a cidery presence, which was unexpected, a hint of yeast as well. Citrus and earthy pine hops are present, but muted by the previously mentioned characteristics.
Flavor has a farmhouse or Belgian feel. Get yeasty esters and a touch of sweet malt in the background. There are assertive hop flavors in there too, citrus zest, bit of earthy spice and pine. I taste a hint of cider/green apple/or apple cider vinegar in the background, but only after it warms.
Moderate carbonation and a touch over medium body.
Interesting brew, pleasant, but definitely had a farmhouse backbone in flavor and aroma. My wife and I shared and Hoof Hearted Sidepipin' the night before and she asked if this was the same brew. (It is a farmhouse style IPA).

Draught & Growler from Brewery: This one pours an opaque golden color. There was no head on it ot lacing. Very nice nose. Lots of hops: tropical, citrus and some pine notes. The taste is also very good. Citrus, tropical, some pine hops. Very smooth texture. I’ll have another!
