Our interpretation of a 4.9% abv pLambic (pure culture) aged on apricots. This version was fruited heaviest of all, then aged in Estate Cabernet (American oak) barrels from Korbin Kameron wines before undertaking even more apricots before bottling.

The look and appearance is fine. The smell is subtle, but appropriate. Sourness and some light funk. Lemony. Barely any apricots. Mouth feel is light and thin. As far as I can tell there are no flavors imparted by being aged in oak barrels.
Overall, meh.
I visited the brewery in Newmarket, NH and picked this up for a whopping $15 for 16.9 oz bottle. I tasted all of their other beers available on tap, and was impressed, so I purchased this without hesitation. I really wish I hadn't.
A barrel aged beer for $15 should blow you away. It didn't even come close.
