Pours a cloudy, deep cranberry color with a half finger fizzy head that settles quickly to a fine film.
The aroma is intoxicating and fills the room with freshly crushed raspberry and blackberry notes.
The taste is packed with fresh blackberry and raspberry flavor up front that quickly gives way to an astringent sourness that is well moderated. The berry flavor lingers in the finish along with a slight creaminess. This flavor is really clean and super fresh.
The feel is soft from the lactose, has tons of seltzer and a fair amount of tartness to it.
This is just a fantastic beer that has made a believer out of me for sours - or at least a believer in very well done ones. I will be now adding Berliners and sours to my repertoire I think.

Can from Brewery: This one pours a murky raspberry red color. There was a bit of a pink head on it. Tart raspberries and blackberries to the nose. Good flavor. A bit sour, with mainly raspberries and a hint of the blackberries in the background. A very nice beer!

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a beautiful deep pink-red color with a fluffy bright pink head. The head leaves a few splotches of lacing before settling into a thin halo.
The aroma brings notes of raspberry yogurt, fresh blackberries, and yeast with a hint of peppery spice on the back end.
The taste brings a ton of raspberries, lemon zest, blackberries, yeast and doughy bread with the absolute faintest kiss of hops on the finish. Nicely tart with plenty of balance.
The feel is light bodied with lively carbonation. Very dry and crisp with mild lingering tartness.
Overall, a great Berliner ale that is full of flavor yet still exceptionally drinkable and refreshing.
