Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a glossy melted yellow color with a little white foamy head that quickly slid off to leave not much lace, just seemed to be more of a whiff of it.
The aroma had the peach flesh and skin up front, sweet and sour and with a sly earthy to grassy note rolling into each other very nicely.
The flavor was moderately sour with a tickled sweetness of the meshing of the grass and sour meshing. Slight woody dryness and some peach in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair crisp sipping to sessionable sort of feel to it. Despite the ABV being as low as it is and actually feeling on par according to the brewer, it definitely worked. Sour to peach-like and slight vinous quality in the finish.
Overall, pretty damn nice American Wild ale packing in a ton of flavor inside a low ABV-ed beer. That's not an easy task, but kudos to Deciduous for pulling it off well.
