Deciduous Brewing Company IPA - Imperial / Double New...

Fat and juicy! Big, red tropical fruity hops. Sweet citrus and round feels. Chonky body and feel with highly saturated and dense hops. Rose hips, Oranges, strawberry and key lime pie. Thick and heavy hop juice all the way around. Sweet fruity nose.

Can from Perfect Pour. Vey good NEIPA; very smooth and creamy. Otherwise not distinguished for taste etc.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit are present in the nose along with notes of papaya.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the flavors of citrusy and tropical fruit hops are a little stronger. The IPA only has a faint amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer does a good job at blending hops from both hemispheres and is quite easy to drink considering its strength.

Can from Chris, thanks for the opportunity!
Hazy murky dark yellow color with a thick bubbly head that persists. Tropical citrus and light pine with bready malt and a hint of warming alcohol to counter.

Poured into a 16 oz Deciduous Tulip glass canned on 7/14/20. Pours a very attractive hazy orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5.

Smell is ripe melon, guava, tangerine, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.5

Taste follows cantaloupe, mandarin, guava, apricot, gonja, and a little grapefruit bitterness. 4.5

Mouthfeel is big, soft carbonation, sticky not dry, and at 8% easy drinking with huge flavor. 4.75

Overall another winner from this amazing brewery. 4.5

Can, no date:
Brewery says DIPA and this version is 8.4%

Pours cloudy, dirty straw; modest head, temporary lacing. Nose is strawberry, blueberry, unripe peach, simple syrup sweetness.

Taste isn’t as sweet as nose indicates, but the strawberry/blueberry joins a NE IIA malt profile up front. Fruity but not juicy, zero bitterness but only slightly malty sweet, feel is light and soft, inviting for the ABV.

Definitely not a “regular” IPA without the bitterness. More like one of those balanced NE IPAs that I like to call the “new school APA” - a fruity, balanced, soft beer that I actually enjoyed drinking.

16oz can dated 10/2/17.

Pours cloudy yellow with a half inch head of dense white. Retention is minimal with a trace of lacing and a placid surface. Pithy citrus in the nose with shades of orange, grapefruit, and mango. Medium bodied with a softish, almost creamy mouthfeel. Bright citrus on the palate and bone-dry with zero malt and a firm bitterness. Peach skins with grapefruit and orange pith. Finishes fairly juicy and dry.

A nice representation of the NEIPA style and easy drinking. More hops would be nice though.
