From an undated can, pours a hazy, slightly brownish orange. Head is greenish white, leaving a bit of lacing. Smell and taste are compromised by noticeable diacetyl. Underneath is some fruit and dank, but the buttery element dominates. Too bad.

White to yellow color. Very cloudy. Nice starting head which creates plenty of lace on the glass.
Mostly evergreen hop and yeast to the nose. There's also some tropical fruit smells. A nice combination.
The taste is smother than I expected, meaning the malt base is stronger than the smell indicates. It also has a richer mouthfeel. The hop kicks in at the swallow but not in an overwhelming way. Balanced but short aftertaste.

From a 16oz can, dated 02/06/18. Served in an imperial pint pub glass.
Pours a thoroughly murky-opaque, pale pineapple-orange colour with a finger of soft, sudsy, soapy head. Retention is just OK but leaves a thin, wispy cap and a solid curtain of lacing.
Soft, flowery nose with the full boat of sweet tropical fruits and vanilla cake. Not forceful; you have to stick your nose right down into the glass, but it's totally worth the effort.
Taste is limoncello, pineapple, mango, orange and birthday cake. Homogenous from beginning through to the finish, juicy and creamy with slight dankness and low-to-moderate but satisfying bitterness.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, medium bodied and perfectly carbonated - although it's so creamy you have to actually think about the carbonation to notice it, if that makes sense.
This is the fourth different canning of a Deciduous IPA I've had this year and I'm just blown away by what they're doing. I get the impression that they didn't really want to be forced to brew these crazy-ass NEIPA's and that their heart's not really in it but, whatever, it's working for me.
