Poured on draft at The Tuckaway Tavern in Raymond NH. Pours like pineapple o.j with minimal head and only a little lace.
Smell is passion fruit, guava, pineapple, and subtle grapefruit rind.
Taste follows tropical as it get front to back, passion fruit and guava dominate with a little pineapple grapefruit in the very balanced finish.
Mouthfeel is about medium, moderate carbonation, not dry but a little sticky from all the fresh hops, and at 7.8% ABV dangerously drinkable.
Overall this is up with many of the greats, with it had a little more life, but that is just splitting hairs, world class again from them.

End of the keg pour, it creates a very frothy head, slow to recede. Good steaks for lace. White-yellow color and very cloudy.
Extremely earthy to the nose, almost to the point of being repulsive. Soured milk comes to mind.
The taste is a solid improvement with a lightly sweet, pale malt base. The hop is spicy, leaving the finish and aftertaste well balanced. Full bodied with an average carbonation level. The taste saves this beer from its smell.
