Growler from the source.
Hazy murky lemon yellow with a bubbly white head that persists. Citrus fruity with hint of tropical and pine. Bready sweet maltiness brings it all together.

From the tap. Pours a cloudy, bright gold color with a minimal white head. Aroma has so.e grapefruit and tart nectarine notes. Taste is similar with a notable lack of sweet fruit hop flavor so it comes across as more bitter than it really is. Feel is soft and lightly carbonated, not sticky so a clean finish full of tart hop flavor.
This is a very pleasant taste and so long as you are not a stickler for sweetness in your NEIPAs it Is worth the try. The lack of head is a bummer but not too important for the experience IMO.

DECIDUOUS FIELDWORK 7.0 IPA 7/29/18
This New Hampshire brewery seems to really enjoy experimenting. I was told this was a special can release of a "7.0" version.
Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Tree House stemmed tulip.
a: Opaque yellow with no head.
s: Intensely citrus and pine resin
t; Strong citrus leaning to grapefruit over a surprisingly light biscuit malt base.
m; Lighter side of medium, ok body bordering on watery, some carbonation.
o; An unusual "experimental" IPA due to the lack of any kind of head. Looks like a glass of grapefruit juice. Good strong citrusy/pine resin flavor holds on and obviously testifies that a boatload of hops or hop powder was used in its creation. My suggestion would be to go back to the drawing board until the recipe is smoothed out a little and especially until a beerlike head appears! Still and all, an interesting and refreshing effort.
UPDATE 8/18/18; Second from the fourpack was the same as the first. No head, but a good strong double-like IPA. No need to change any of my initial ratings.
