Pours a cloudy, pale cranberry (with maybe a tinge of orange) with a fizzy half finger head that settles to a film quickly.
Aroma is a fruit salad, a little more on the sweet side rather than sour.
The taste is excellent, bursting with pomegranate flavor up front. If anything the blackberry takes a back seat this time. The mango comes through in the mid taste and blends well with the pomegranate into the finish. There is less of the sour and malt flavor than typical for the style, making it more like a fruit punch.
The feel is lightly tart and somewhere between crisp and soft.
I really like this one over the last few lollipops. The pomegranate is balanced well with the sweetness making for a lightly tart flavor bomb. I am unsure if it conforms well to the style... but hey, who cares when it tastes like this.
