Pint on draft in a shaker at El Rayo in Portland.
Appearance: First of all, I know very little about this beer. No information is available on the website. But, it’s a cloudy straw with a big white head and medium carb. Nice looking beer.
Aroma: Fruit, candy, some malt backing in the distance.
Taste: Grapefruit, lemon, Jolly Rancher type candy, maybe some toast, a touch of sugar.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and easy for a beer with hop bite.
Overall: This mystery of a beer is quite enjoyable. Kind of a hybrid Belgian single and session IPA kind of thing. Nice pairing with tacos.
