DECIDUOUS WON'T BACK DOWN IMPERIAL PORTER BBA 4/17/22
Poured from the 16.9 oz. bottle into a Victory Donnybrook Stout nonick.
a: Opaque black with a red tinge at the edges. No surface foam.
s: Dark fruit.
t: Follows the nose with some sourish bitterness and slight whiskey notes.
m: Light side of medium.
o: Rather disappointingly lightweight even for a porter, and bitter/sour fruitiness which competes with any bourbon notes , not unlike what might be expected if grapejuice was soured and barrel aged. This brewery does better. Oh and my bottle says 8.5%, not 9.5.

Half pour at the source.
Solid dark brown bordering on black with a thin tan head that persists. Nice rich chocolate and caramel notes with some light earthy fruit and just a touch of woody coconut bourbon to add some great complexity.
