A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that has very good retention properties and never completely faded away and also left thick lacing coating the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pale and pilsner malts are present in the nose along with hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, with the hops also contributing a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The unfiltered nature makes the mouthfeel a bit "chewy".
O: This pilsner has simple aromas and flavors but is very easy to drink.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.99. No canned on date, but I would guess that this is around 3-4 months old.
Look: Has the faintest haze to it. Tiny bubbles are rising up to the surface. There was a nice head on the pour but it receded to almost nothing. After pouring the bottom of the can, the appearance became much cloudier and I can see why this is classified as a kellerbier / zwickelbier instead of a German pilsner.
Smell: This has a really pleasant aroma to it. It reminds me a lot of white grape jelly a bit, and there is some grassy and bitter notes on the finish. There is also a nice doughy, yeasty note. Also has a nice perfumy aroma to it. At the same time, it has these secondary petrol or tar-like notes (reminds me a bit of a dry riesling) that add to the complexity and interesting nature of this beer.
Taste: Super crushable. It has a nice flavor, and it's just so drinkable that I wonder if it's almost a bit too drinkable. I think that concern went away after pouring the rest of the can in my glass - it helped to deepen the flavor and body of the beer quite a bit. I get notes of bartlett pear up front. The finish is moderately bitter with a bit of peppery and grassy notes.
Feel: Excellent carbonation and a light to medium body.
Overall: I haven't had many beers in this style, but I have liked the ones that I have had. It's a refreshing, crushable style that has a flavorful, crisp and bitter finish. At 4.5% ABV, it would be easy to put a few of these away in a session. Kudos to Deciduous for putting this out there and distributing it to my area. Solid - more brewers should consider brewing this style!

16oz Can from the source.
Lightly hazy light gold in color with a frothy off white head that persists. Bready crackery pilsner maltiness earthy floral hosp to counter, light astringency. Solid pilsner.
