From a 16oz can, undated, purchased at the brewery 11/12/20. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours an opaquely hazy, pale milky-mango with a finger-and-a-half of loose frothy foam. Retention is so-so-decent, leaving a lush, creamy cap and collar and a tattered curtain of slippery lacing.
Nose is sharp and fruity, sweet and sticky smelling but a little spicy, too. Pineapple, lemon and ginger.
Taste is similar to the nose but doesn’t quite live up to the promise: thin, watery lemonade, pineapple, black pepper and ginger.
Feel is juicy and slick, fairly thin bodied and brightly carbonated.
Overall, a mixed bag for me - an interesting and appealing flavour profile but ultimately sort of thin and unsatisfying.
