Poured into a 16 oz Deciduous Brewing Company Snulip glass bottled this week. Pours a very attractive jet black with a 2 finger sticky brown head that leaves thick patches of lace with excellent retention as it slowly settles into a thick layer of bubbles. 5
Aroma ginger bread, cocoa nibs, vanilla bean, and coffee milk. 4.75
Taste follows with ginger bread in the lead role, cocoa, vanilla, and hints of coffee all in important supporting roles. 4.75
Mouthfeel is large, soft creamy carbonation, not dry but a tad sticky, and at 10.5% ABV really goes down far too easy with no alcohol present. 5
Overall this is another world class brew from possibly the best in NH. Ginger bread is the main attraction, but it allows all the other flavors to shine. This is a near perfect Christmas Stout. Pretty amazed with this one. 475
