Pours cloudy pale yellow gold color with a very think fizzy head that disappears quickly. The aroma has some shallow, piquant grapefruit and tangerine pith flavors - it is very pungentand rich. Taste is the same. There is a hint of some coconut in the background (sabro?) that fades by midtaste. You are left with a thin and bitter aftertaste in the finish. The feel is a little watery, so maybe medium bodied. It is very effervescent as well, so I would put this in the category of good summer IPA based on mouth feel.
This beer has some problems in terms of meeting the quintessential NEIPA standards. I think it falls on its face for translating the hop flavors - they peek through but get lost in a watery and bitterish pale malt body. Not offensive but not pleasing either.

Can from the source.
Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a decent sized long lasting bubbly white head. Lemony citrus with hints of tropical fruits and a bit of earthy grassy herbal notes. Feels like a session ale but has hints of spicy alcohol. OK not great.
