Poured into a 20 oz Snulip glass not sure when it was bottled. Pours near pitch black with a 2 plus finger mocha head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.75
Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla bean, cocoa, and coffee. 4.25
Taste follows cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa, and coffee, cinnamon is the stand out, but everything lends a hand. 4.25
Mouthfeel is above average, creamy soft carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 10% it drinks big, but still goes down easy enough. 4.5
Overall another excellent offering from this brewery, but coffee cake is not my favorite, so it lost points with aroma and flavor, but really an impressive Imperial Stout. 4.25
