Pale gold color with good white cap and lacing.
Slightly tart slightly sour scent with something like ripe yellow fruit in the background.
Taste is less sharp and sour than the scent. It's rounded, fuller and has a fruit like quality like very ripe Anjou pears, which is to say rich without being heavy. I also notice a citrus like quality that just hints of lemon but provides a brightness to offset the fruit. It has almost desert wine like qualities who's flavors are handed out with a light touch but the whole approaches lusciousness. Almost heady with an unnoticeable 9.0 % ABV.
Full body with balancing carbonation.
Drinks like a wine, I kid you not. A Vin du Pays perhaps with more body and higher quality than Vin Ordinaire. Darned good stuff no matter how you want to describe it.
