Pours a hazy gold color with a half inch, very well retained white head that left tons of lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits, a bit of malts and pine. Tastes of grapefruit, orange, orange peel, ripe pineapple, sweet malts, floral and herbal notes. Medium to full bodied for the style, soft carbonation, smooth and creamy mouth feel, moderate bitterness.

No canning date on this one but judging from the strong hop aroma it can't be more than a month or two old. Pungent new-wave hop aroma, lots of pineapple. Lots of pineapple in the flavor profile as well with a bit of peach & passionfruit. Slightly dry finish and the 9% abv burn is almost non-existent. I can see why Sand City is highly regarded, this is a fantastic DIPA. 4.55/5

More next-level shit from Sand City... 9.0% abv DIPA, based on their second year anniversary beer, TWO, but with an additional dry hopping of Mosaic... 1/8/18 can release... Unsurprisingly New England-styled, with a pale gold body, opaque, and a tall head of foam that showed nice persistence and left all sorts of lacy messes down the glass... Aromas and flavors flush with tropical and citrusy elements - pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and the like, all at play, presenting a mildly bitter and moderately sweet, juicy and slightly tangy brew... Feel was plush and soft, fuzzy and tingly, super-smooth and fluffy... If you got your hands on some, you know what I'm talking about; but this little brewery in East Northport has no distribution to speak of, so hopefully you'll trust my judgment when I say its one of the best, and beers like this are a large part of the reason why...

Can from the release on 1/08/18, it pours cloudy gold color with a whipped foamy 2 finger snow white colored head that was small bubbles, fading very, very slowly and leaving excellent foamy lacing with think foamy rings sticking to the sides of the glass as it went down. Pure hop juice, it looks like grapefruit or pineapple juice and has classic NE-style IPA looks.

Nose is all citrus with some dashes of biscuit, toasted wheat bread and caramel. Soft and pungent at the same time, the aroma contains grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, star fruit, fresh cut grass, melon, light pineapple, fresh wet citrus hops, piney notes, toasted grains, cannabis/skunk weed, mild peppery spices and tropical fruit. Well balanced and really nice to breathe in, this is right up there with the other Infinity series.

Tastes hits like a whirlwind of flavors: the citrus hops, malty backbone and floral aspects hit at once with grapefruit, orange juice, lemon, tangerine, and pineapple hitting first, followed by toasted grains, buttered biscuit, sweet malt, a little brown sugar like a graham cracker, and then coriander, dry floral hops, fresh cut grass as earthy notes. Mix in some piney accents and caramel sweetness, and this brew has a ton of complexities. Outstanding balance and drink-ability.

Mouthfeel is buttery smooth to the point of being slick, sliding down with ease. The carbonation level is average and the bitterness level is perfect for a DIPA. The finish is slightly tart with a lot of citrus flavor and enough malt backbone to balance it and slide down effortlessly. This is a ninja 9% ABV, as I did not detect one bit of booze. It was covered perfectly and dangerously easy to drink. Great way to start off 2018, it's just a shame they sold out before I could get to the release and pick up a full allocation. Thanks CD and BB for hooking me up with this excellent offering. This was one of the best beers ever made by Sand City.

Another great beer from the Infinity series. Pours a candy yellow with a small head that lingers and fantastic lacing.
Taste citrus fruit followed by a sugar cookie finish. The smell is strong with grass and a moderate booze smell. Similar yet very different to the infinitiy versions brewed before it. The flavors that make this version of infinity stand alone in my opinion can be attributed to the addition of a new brewer and his tweaks to the beer. Another great beer from Sand City that with a few weeks in the CAn will only taste better

Acquired from the brewery on 1/8/18, enjoyed shortly after in my Sand City snifter.

Look: Bright yellow haze, nicely blended, no suspended particles, perfect haze, 2 finger head that lingers and laces nicely.
Smell: Heavy tropical fruits, dank weed, stone fruit, baked peach pie.
Taste: Perfect.
Feel: Very smooth, resinous, salty aftertaste, tangy, sour, light, fluffy.
Overall: This is absolutely incredible. Reminds me of the first time I Bissell Brothers Swish on draft only at the brewery, but 1 step up. The flavors are strong and powerful but blend extremely well and will make you really savor this brew. Drink fresh and in good company.

Can release today 1/8/18. Pours merky light yellow almost looks like oranginia. Great lacing as with all sand city beers. Aroma of hops, fresh pineapple juice and citra. Taste follows the nose with big mosaic, orange juice , papaya and light gramm cracker at the finish. There no alcohol burn at all. Excellent DIPA. Still needs a week a tad green imo.
