Opaque juice of an orange-pineapple juice hue, under a fat finger (maybe two) of frothy white foam... Galaxy and Enigma hops kick up floral aromas of citrus and fruit, followed by a lush and plush-feeling beer rich in sweet, zesty citrus fruits and juicy orchard fare... Moderately sweet and mildly bitter - with a notable tang on the tongue... Very New England-esque, and up there with quality beers of this sort from Other Half and Trillium... 11/1/18 canning...

Had on tap at brewery, poured a hazy orange with a well retained, thin white head that left ample lacing. Smells of citrus, tropical fruits, pine and some malt. Tastes of red grapefruit, orange peel, pineapple, a hint of lemon, floral notes, pine and a nice malt presence that is very slightly sweet. Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, creamy mouth feel with a slightly dry finish and moderate bitterness.

Canned 02/19/18, it pours cloudy gold orange color with the typical NE IPA looks that resembles a glass of OJ with a nice thick 2 finger off white foamy head that dissipated slowly and left a good amount of foamy lacing coating the sides.

Smells dank and like a combo of pineapple juice, OJ and red grapefruit, followed by graham cracker, light toffee, lemon zest, lime, biscuit, peppery spices like coriander and white pepper, some piney notes, orange peel and mango. It's very hop forward with a heavy citrus presence, but the earthy/spicy notes add nice complexities.

Tastes of citrus up front with grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, pineapple, star fruit, lemon and then biscuit, wheat crackers and toasted grains. The dry hopping is evident with a lot of earthy, floral notes like tea leaf, coriander, piney hops and peppery spices. It almost has what seems like hints of mint or weed in the mix as well. Very well balanced, it hides the 8.5% ABV very well.

Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with mild to average carbonation, a medium body and a bitterness level that jumps around with each sip - at times it's mildly bitter and other times it's a medium bitterness level. The inconsistencies in the bitterness level adds to the overall drinking experience.

Love that it stated "NO DECK" under the canning date. Another very enjoyable DIPA from Sand City.

3/28/18-Had my last can today and it held up a month after the release. A real quality beer in every way.
