A nice treat from Bandana. They used 50 lbs. of Minnesota grown wild rice to make this, and it does add a lot of nutty flavor, as advertised. Color is dark gold, with a nice head to start with (it's been away from the brewery for about 0 hours at this point). Smell is nutty and sweet, like Rogue Hazelnut, only a bit more raw and slightly smokey. Mouthfeel is pretty solid, moderate carbonation, with an appropriate body for this sort of beer. Very delicious, I am on my second growler in the past 3 days.
