Appearance: Arrives a cloudy muddy/amber color; the modest head leaves a few strands behind
Smell: Candied dried pineapple with a piney character
Taste: Candied sweetness, up front, with a dried pineapple flavor building; piney bitterness wallops in the mid-palate, with sweetness butressing and wrapping things up
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A beer that shows off the qualities of the Denali hops, it is certainly balanced but has a bit too much candied sweetness for my palate
