Appearance: Arrives with a one inch head capping the clear amber liquid; shards of lacing hang around
Smell: Tropical tones of guava, passion fruit and grapefruit are buttressed by shortbread malt tones
Taste: The shortbread lays down a subtle underlying sweetness, with the tropical tones noted in the aroma building through the middle; the finish is balanced with some residual sugar on the tip of the tongue
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A nicely balanced traditional pale ale with an interesting hop profile
