A: Pours a very hazy murky medium golden apricot in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate orange + pale golden yellow + honey + burnt orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film covering a little less than 50% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, citrus/orange, pine/resin, and herbal hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + honey + caramel malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + honey + caramel malts with a moderate amount of caramel + honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/papaya, citrus/orange, pine/resin, and herbal hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away very quickly leaving a lingering citrus + tropical + pine/resin hop flavor.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Almost creamy with a moderate amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant creamy/soft mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a very pleasant hop profile. Would gladly have this one again.

Look: It pours cloudy orange with tinges of yellow in it. It has a slightly off white head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has initial aromas of citrus and pine. There is also grapefruit in support and a very low slight bit of grassiness.
Taste: The flavors have citrus, grapefruit, pine and resinous.
Feel: It finishes slight sweet with plenty of hops. The hops enhance the finish and although have a good deal of bitterness, it is not harsh. The texture is quite creamy.
Overall: The lack of harshness with the bitterness is welcome when compared to so many other double IPA's. It is quite flavorful.
