Appearance: Arrives hazy and honey colored with a one finger cap; strands of lacing
Smell: Acetic and citrusy with distinct Lulo tones
Taste: Acetic and very sour from start to finish; citrusy, like a Kumquot, so there is bitterness, also, though the flavors of the Lulo are very apparent
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; quite pucker
Overall; I am familiar with Lulo from my travels to Colombia where it is widely used in fruit juices; I think this beer captures the tartness but the sweet element that balances the bitterness doesn't get reflected; as a result, this is aggressively sour and bitter; I didn't dislike it, I just felt it was a bit misguided compared to what I was hoping it might be
