This dark lager is inspired by Czech Tmave Pivo and is brewed with a variety of kilned and roasted malts from our friends at Epiphany Craft Malt. Smooth with malty notes of fresh-baked bread and dark chocolate, with a smooth, clean finish.

Served on-tap at the brewery.
Very dark brown with ruby edges and healthy 1-finger off-white frothy head that leaves copious bands of lacing despite swirling for aroma. Aroma with a good blend of roasted and medium caramel malts and light herbal hop notes. Flavor is excellent for style with a great balance of caramel, coffee, and roast on a solid malt backbone. Lightly herbal-spicy noble hop in the finish. Feel is highly drinkable with light-medium body with moderate carbonation and dry finish, accentuated by the balanced roast character. An excellent example of a Czech tmave - nice job WR!
