A hop forward American pale ale. Pilsner and crystal malts set up the malt backbone for a hop showcase. Packed with American Columbus and Cascade hops for that classic hop flavor and aroma.

This is a solid APA. The hops come out quite well without being overpowering, because the malts have a dog in the fight. In the end the pithy, grassy hops hold the field, but until then it's an even battle.
The look is on the dark side of golden, little brown tint in a good light (liked a slight amber shade in a shadow). Head sustain at edges atop the clear beer. Nose is cereal grain notes on one side, floral to lightly citrus fruit notes on the other.
The taste up front follows the nose. By mid taste, however a vegetation stalk greenness comes it, a bit more grassy than pithy. A drying feel grows as the flavors fade. This final feel resembles a west coast IPA final feel, where the rest of the beer doesn't.
