This beer is a light bodied, German-style Golden Ale. Pilsner and Munich malts provide a subtle, biscuit malt backbone balanced by the spicy flavors and floral aromas of German noble up varietals.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a large, thin patch of bubbles on the surface and a minuscule collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of green grapes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has flavors of biscuit malts to go along with the green grapes. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has some refreshing properties.

Very nice Kölsch. Poured from can to glass. Clear and straw colored with a finger of foam that's here and gone. Nice streams of carbonation. Nice aromas of spicy and floral hops. Malt shows up bigger in the flavor, biscuit and bread, with that peppery zip.

A: Pale straw in color with a light white head, and fairly clear body.

S: Light malt and straw, with perhaps a touch of citrus zest.

T: Light malt with a touch of citrus zest hops. Something funky in the finish... almost herbal, or earthy maybe..

M: Medium light, and fairly high carbonation. Smooth finish, not quite as crisp as I would like to see.

O: Overall not bad, but not anything to write home about either.

Pale golden color, brilliant. Pours medium sized white head with okay retention.

Bit of a pilsner nose, feel like getting a little noble hop aroma. Otherwise quite clean and lagerlike. Soft lemon sweetness?

Gentle malt flavor up front with a slight fruitiness noted in aroma. Decent hop flavor, and has a somewhat bitter, drying finish. Hoppier than I would expect for a kolsch. Maybe their self-description of a golden ale is more appropriate.

Light-medium body, medium-high carbonation. These work together making it refreshing and drying.

Definitely a beer I could drink in volume on a warm day. A little hoppy for a kolsch, but a nice beer all the same.

pale gold and a light wash feel without over exuberant carbonation but the pepperiness of the hops distracts from enjoying it as a refreshing beverage

Serving: 12 oz shaker bar glass draft, serving temperature 50F
Nose: Light nose with slight lemon as it warms
Color: Straw yellow. Slight haze. Haze fades as it warms.
Head: 0.5 inch head dissipates after about a minute but retains thin foam around edges. Slight lacing on glass.
Good carbonation with a solid body. While light in the nose, hop backbone is solid but still allows the malt to come through.
Low hops aroma is maintained as beer warms.
Clean finish with slight hops bitterness along edges of tongue. Predominately lemon but with slight grapefruit and stone fruit flavor.
Body: Solid body that is consistently present but not cloying or too heavy.
Overall: A good session beer that would also be good with fish or chicken. I would like it to have more hops aroma.
