Deep ruby gold color with white cap and lacing.
Aroma is slightly vinous with bright tropical tinted hops.
Flavor is only slightly grape like (Zinfandel) with a generous helping of tropical hops. The overall impression is one of flavorful mildness. Grape influence is noticeable but stays in the background. DDH Hops are the whole cloth in this makeup but they adroitly walk the balancing bar. Clean, relatively simple brew that both drinks and finishes dry.
Light to medium texture with balancing carbonation.
This one appears to be an update on Chandeleur's Zinfandel DIPA that weighed in at 8%. At 6.7 this is a somewhat diminished version that comes across as a thing in it's own right and not just some pale copy Session style.
