Snifter at brewery.
Deep silky shiny black with a creamy beige head of 1 finger, nice hilly lace.
Rich, decadent dark chocolate on the nose, with notes of caramel, gingerbread, and hints of soaked oak barrel.
Flavor is like a chocolate cola, with lingering anise notes. Some holiday spices, kinda weird.
Feel is like a nitro beer, thinned out but creamy, moderate carbonation matching the heat. Slick finish.
Overall not great, a little strange.
