decent but nothing special. serviceable dark brew, pretty good in fact.
i can get behind this project and their causes, so they earn more points there in my mind, not on here

Had Kemp's Conservator poured from 12-oz. can, label stamped (apparently) canned on "21421," into pilsner glass.
Pours deep ruby-amber, with clarity and 1-finger very light-tan head, with good retention. Aromas of biscuit malt and a hint of nuts off initial pour, then a bit of fruit (mild berry?) and mild caramel malt aromas join. Sweet caramel malt to start, then a little hop bite doesn't quite balance it out, but does reveal some dryer malt and a bit of nut character, which carry into a moderately sweet, sticky finish.
Beautiful Munich Dunkel off the pour, a little less back out of the glass, but still rich enough to accompany a grilled brat.

Had a can at The Pig & Pint in Jackson, MS! As a N’anglander, I never thought I’d find myself in Mississip! Nice to see this beer was brewed for a great cause...to save sea turtles! A fantastic rendition of the style, properly malty and toasty and sweet. Too easy to drink!
