Our 2nd batch brewed on our Pilot System was written and overseen by our newly promoted Assistant Brewer, Safir! A rich and malty English style ale with tones of honey and caramel are balanced with the bright and earthy characters of Earl Grey tea and smoothed out with a heavy dose of lactose sugar and vanilla. This unique ale is surprisingly refreshing and smooth, just like Saf.

16 oz "Crowler" to a tulip

A: pours a deep red-to-yellow clear gold body. an off-white bubbly-champagne-like head rises excitedly and falls just as quickly. little-to-no lacing sticks around as the head settles down into a bubbly halo around the cap.
S: lush light-colored stone fruit with deep caramel malt, low key earthy malts mixed with earl grey tea
T: follows the nose, essentially. early grey with a decent amount of honey backs up a fruit-forward thick caramel sweet malt with the faintest hint of earthy hop.
F: medium-to-high carbonation with a medium-to-light body, and a slightly dry finish.

Overall (personal opinion):
this was beautiful. the pairing of flavors, the body, the way it sits in the glass...just understated beauty for miles.
brilliant. bloody-damn-near-perfect-five-minus-a-quarter points for Gryffindor.
