From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear pink, ok head.
Smell: Tart, berries.
Taste: Tartness to start, then the body is a solid raspberry, finishes with more tartness and raspberries.
Overall: I'm not much of a kettle sour fan, but this was a pretty solid fruity “change-up” beer. And unlike the others in the Alesmith mix pack, didn't seem to be diminished from sitting on the shelf for 10 months. Worth a try as a change of pace or if you like raspberries.

Glass: Karl Strauss 26th anniversary .25L tulip
Price: $1.84
From: Trader Joe’s in La Mesa, Calif.
Purchased: June 14, 2021
Consumed: Aug. 7, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Feb. 27, 2021; Split with Rachel
Had Rachel pick me up this at Trader Joe’s with some other stuff. AleSmith’s website called this beer “This refreshingly sour and deliciously fruity beer brings the bright flavors of limes and the soft sweetness of raspberries with a pinch of sea salt. Cheers!”
Poured a deep amber clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of rocky off-white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled raspberry, mixed berry, lime, salt water, plum, purple grape and prune. About the same from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Not as much raspberry as the nose but was still leading the way. Also plum, prune, purple grape, mixed berry, lime, grass and lingering salt. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, tart finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was very good overall, just not as good as I was hoping it to be. (Overall - 3.75)
