This is the first time I've seen the Foghorn Porter at Anacapa. I haven't been here since winter and they didn't have it on then. Seems a little odd for them to come out with it in the Summer.
It's very dark in the glass with a solid off-white one finger head.
Smells faintly of sweet maltiness and light blueberries, oddly enough.
Tastes like chocolate covered blueberries. Pretty darn tasty. Not too sweet.
Medium to full bodied mouthfeel.
Even with a relatively strong flavor, the Foghorn goes down smooth as can be. Very drinkable indeed.
