(draft, Anacapa Brewing, Ventura CA) Nice hop aroma hit me first, malt forward on first sip, lacks dimension/complexity the more you drink it. A hearty brew nonetheless.

Clean golden color. Great head retention for a sampler. More bitter than expected but a decent IPA

Wow, ABC must have changed their recipe on this one cause I tasted a beer last night that was called Pierpoint IPA that doesnt match the previous reviews on here. I wonder if those reviewers even like IPAs? I thought this beer was wonderfully done! Full of nice floral bouquet, flavor and structure!
When I lived in Carpinteria, we used to come to BuenaVentura all the time, but I never went to Anacapa, now I wish I had all those years. For sure next time we come here I will make it a priority to make a trip to ABC.
Its a well done, easy to drink IPA.

This is the best beverage that they brew and had available that night, which isnt saying much, but it was decent.
This is one of the few beers that had a decent nose to it. I detected what seemed like cascade hops. There was also a nice maltyness to it.
There was absolutly zero head to this one, not even a little ring around the edge. The color of the liquid was that of urine after a hefty shot of B vitimen. I'm an not trying to slander the beverage, that is just what it looked like. Like i said, this drink was their best offering.
There was a pretty decent taste to this one. Nice and rounded with a pronounced bitterness.
Overall this is the best thing i found on tap that night. If you are going here, this is your best bet.
